A Letter from the President of The Lupus Alliance of America Hudson Valley Affiliate
July 13, 2009
Dear Friends, Supporters and Members,
We are very excited and pleased to announce some great news. We are
teaming up with the Lupus Alliance of America Long Island/Queens
Affiliate! Together we will be bringing you educational programs which
are designed to help those living with lupus learn about their disease, how
to cope, talking to your doctor, reading your lab tests and more. These
educational classes are also perfect for someone who loves or takes care
of someone with lupus, so they can learn more about what their loved one
is going through.
We will also be setting up some Informational Meetings on Lupus with several
doctors and experts as our speakers. These forums will have talks on specific
topics like the latest in research, coping skills, clinical trials and more.
Enclosed is the calendar we have arranged so far, and we will be working
hard in the next few months to arrange more meetings and bring more support
services to the area, including supportmeetings, library forums and more.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or most importantly want to volunteer
to help us please call or email us at lupusalliancehv@aol.com or call
at (800) 850.9000.
Sincerely,
Patty Guidice
President
